  1. Call to order
Chris Cochran, KBØWZC called to order the regular meeting of the Nixa Amateur Radio Club at 18:00 on December 26, 2009 at the Nixa Fire Station.

  1. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Jeff Kerr, KCØVGC filed the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were approved as posted on the club website.

  1. News and Announcement
    1. The Nixa Amateur Radio Club received a grant from the Nixa Community Foundation in the amount of $1300 for the purpose of purchasing amplifiers for the 440 and 220 repeaters.
    2. Al Gallo W0ERE and Jeff Morrissey both pledged $25 toward the paying the dues for the club to join the Nixa Chamber of Commerce. Dues for the CoC are $100. When the remainder of the dues are pledged the club will pay the dues to join the CoC.
    3. 6m repeater expansion project update: Progress is being made. We are waiting word from various public agencies for final permission to locate equipment and various proposed tower sites.
    4. It was proposed in the December meeting to move the Club's monthly meeting from the last Saturday of the month to the second Saturday. The membership voted to move the meeting as was proposed. None opposed. It was noted that the club information posted on the ARRL and various other websites will need to be updated to reflect this change.
    5. Dave Beckler N0SAP and Rich Vogt KB9YZE proposed that the club make a plaque for silent key club members to be placed in their honor in the club HF station room. Brian Ubenhower K0OLD pledged $20 toward the purchase of this plaque.

  2. Treasurer's Report
    1. The Treasurer's Report will be presented in the January club newsletter.

The remainder of the meeting was returned to the floor for food and fellowship.

Chris Cochran, KBØWZC adjourned the meeting at 19:15.
