VE Testing
Terry Zembsch KC0SQE reported three test takers. Two passed the Technician Exam and one did not pass.

Terry commented that we need more VE to pull from to help out from time to time so that we don’t have to cancel sessions if enough VEs are not available on a given day. Becoming a VE is easy and it provides a great service to the amateur community.

Technical Committee Update
We are still waiting on funds to complete the tower work for the wide-coverage linked repeater project announced last month. What we need help with most is raising money so that when the opportunity presents itself we can go forward with the tower work as soon as possible.

News and Announcements
Jeff Morrissy announced upcoming CERT training April 13-14. CERT training is valuable information even if you never work a disaster event. For more information you can visit http://ema.christiancountymo.gov/cert.htm

At 18:30 the floor was given to Al Gallo, W0ERE for his presentation on amateur radio beacons. The presentation was very interesting and was well received by the members.
