Call to Order
James Adkins, KB0NHX called the regular meeting of the Nixa Amateur Radio Club to order at 1807 hours on March 10, 2012 at the Nixa Fire Station on South Nicholas Road in Nixa, MIssouri.

Sign in sheet was passed. There were 25 persons present.

Treasure report
Jeff Morrissey, KB0WVT read the treasurer's report as follows:
Beginning Balance: $1507.56
Debits:
$873 for Site Sentinel
$873 Total
Credits:
$1 moved from petty cash to bank
$126 Dues
$28 Misc Donation
$750 in Grant donations from McKesson Corp
$100 Robert Huelga for repeater project
$1005 Total
Ending Balance: $1639.56 with $33 in petty cash.
VE Testing
Kent Doucey N0IRM reported four test takers at today’s test session held prior to the meeting. All passed.
Technical Committee Update
As of this week the club has raised the funds needed to cover the installation cost of the new wide-coverage 2m linked system. We want to thank all of the members that gave financially and in many other ways to make this happen.
News and Announcements
Jeff Kerr, KC0VGC announced that W0S Special Event to be held at the Titanic Museum in Branson is looking for area clubs to sponsor a station at this year’s event. The event is looking for equipment as well as operators for the event. A sign-up sheet for the event was passed.
Presentation
At 18:17 the floor was given to Jeff Morrissey, KB0WVT and Jeff Kerr, KC0VGC for an “Introduction to Storm Spotting” presentation.
