Call to Order
James Adkins, KB0NHX, called the regular meeting of the Nixa Amateur Radio Club to order at 1800 hours on October 13, 2012 at the Nixa Fire Station on South Nicholas Road in Nixa, Missouri.

Sign in sheet was passed. There were 14 persons present.

Treasure report
Jeff Kerr, KC0VGC read the treasurer's report as follows:
Beginning Balance: $5609.20 with $33 in petty cash.
Debits:
$1300.00 Coax for Rolla and Willow Springs repeaters.
Credits:
$1.41 Dividend
$1.41 Dividend
Ending Balance: $4310.61 with $33 in petty cash.
There were two persons that took and passed the technician class exam.
News and Announcements
James Adkins, KB0NHX gave the following news and announcements:
For the Tour de Bass bike ride we had 27 volunteers. This was an outstanding turn-out and represents individuals from five different area amateur radio clubs or groups.
The 147.015 repeater is on the air and worked admirably for the Tour de Bass event
Business
The floor was opened and nominations were taken for the office of Vice President.
A member in good standing presented the nomination of Kent Doucey, N0IRN . This nomination was seconded. I second call was made for nominations. No other nominations were received. The floor was closed.
Presentation
At 18:10 the balance of the meeting was turned over to James Adkins, KB0NHX for his presentation on "Tracking Down Power Line Noise".
