Call to Order
James Adkins, KB0NHX, called the regular meeting of the Nixa Amateur Radio Club to order at 1805 hours on July 13, 2013 at the Nixa Fire Station Community Room at 711 North Main in Nixa, MIssouri.

Jeff Morrissey, KB0WVT prepared the treasurer's report as follows:

Technical Committee Update
KB0NHX gave the following update:
The Stockton Lake repeater will be a UHF repeater that will bridge the gap between Nevada and Crane to give this link 100% reliability. Total costs to complete this project will be around $570.
News and Announcements
KC0VGC gave the following update for Field Day:
We had 818 QSOs and will claim 890 bonus points for a final claimed score of 1,868 points.
The club wanted to recognize Arlen Evins, N6DDD for his outstanding efforts at this year’s Field Day. Everyone present agreed that Arlen went way above and beyond at everyone appreciated it.
Jim, WA0MBE reported that he spoke with Al Gallo, W0ERE about his 30m beacon and the amazing propagation on 30m at this time of year, and that he was able to hear the beacon in northern Minnesota
Presentation
James Adkins, KB0NHX made a presentation on the benefits and construction of coaxial dipole antennas.
