Today, James Adkins, KB0NHX, Kent Doucey, N0IRM and Jeremy Tannehill, KC0UJZ, went to Cox South and re-programmed the 442.275 repeater to its new frequency, 442.425. The repeater is now operational on 442.425, PL 162.2 Hz, and linked back into the Central Region Intertie System, see www.centralregionintertie.info for more details.
We tested the repeater with John Rayfield, W0PM, and we confirmed that the 3rd order intercept problem has been 100% resolved with the new frequency.
Thanks to everyone for their patience while the repeater was shut off, and for Greene County ARES for working with us the last couple of weeks as we tried to keep all the nets on the air and shut repeaters down and turn them on as needed so the nets could go on normally. It has been a challenge for everyone!
The link radios at Republic at the 53.270 site and at Nixa at the 145.270 sites were also re-programmed and the Thursday Night NARC net will go on as normal.
