Call to Order
James Adkins KB0NHX, called the regular meeting of the Nixa Amateur Radio Club to order at 1800 hours on October 12, 2013 at the Nixa Fire Station Community Room at 711 North Main in Nixa, MIssouri.

Jeff Kerr KC0VGC read the treasurer’s report as prepared by Jeff Morrissey KB0WVT.
VE Testing
One person pass the Technician test at this month’s session

James Adkins KB0NHX gave a report on the BEXT amplifier for the six meter repeater.
New Business
Kent Doucey N0IRM opened the foor for nominations for the position of Club President
Gary Doucy N0IRN made a motion for the nomination of James Adkins KB0NHX
Rob Huelga W3LGA seconded the motion
No further nominations were made
The floor was closed to nominations
The members present made a unanimous affirmation to retain James Adkins as Club President.
Larry Grinstead WA0JZK gave the hamfest research committe report
After the report was presented a motion was made to move forward with the hamfest. A show of hands was taken. There were 12 YAYs and 2 NAYs 4 abstained.
Motion was made and seconded to make Larry Grinstead WA0JZK chair of the hamfest committee
Motion was made and seconded to make Jim Adkins KC0IYI co-chair the hamfest committee
Motion was make and seconded to confirm the following appointees to the hamfest committee

News and Announcements
Gary N0IRN announced that he has a GAP Titan antenna that was donated to the club by Tom Reid KG0KW. Kent asked Gary to express the clubs gratitude and appreciation to Tom for the donation of the antenna.
Presentation
Balance of meeting was given to Kent Doucey N0IRM for the hands-on rebuild of the club’s Mosley CL-33M tri-band HF yagi.

Meeting was adjourned at 1900 hours.
