Good evening everyone,
I'm happy to announce that the new President of the Nixa ARC will be Shawn Roesslet, KE0JGI. Shawn will officially take the reigns on January 1, 2018 and we'll begin a transition phase over the next few months.
For those that are concerned, I do still plan on being involved with the club and maintaining club repeaters and equipment and plan on attending meetings and being involved. However, I won't be handling the business aspect of the club on a monthly basis. I have been very happy to have been able to serve the club as an officer over the past 15 years and will continue to be involved and do what I can to help the club be successful.
As for the December meeting, Kim & I are hosting it at our house near Clever (like we did a few years ago). I hope to have my new antennas up and operational by then! The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and be held on Saturday, December 9th. We will be sending out directions (and maybe even GPS coordinates) in the near future. We will have our annual potluck meal and I promise I'll have a pot of my chili ready for consumption. If you and your YL would like to attend, RSVP to me and we'll try to get all the details in order so we have enough food so that no one goes home hungry.
